Steel that is already in the yard
Structural sections, plate and TMT held in stock rather than ordered against your enquiry — so a cut list placed on Monday leaves on Thursday, with the mill test certificate that came with the heat.
What is on the racks today
Counts are sizes held, not sizes we can source. Anything outside them is a mill order and we will say so on the quote.
Structural sections
Beams, columns, channels and angles from 75 mm upward, in IS 2062 E250BR and E350. Standard lengths 6 m and 12 m.
Plate and sheet
Hot rolled 1.6 mm to 40 mm and cold rolled 0.5 mm to 3 mm, in stock sizes up to 2500 × 6300 mm.
TMT bar
Fe 500D from 8 mm to 32 mm, in 12 m lengths, bundled and tagged to the heat it came from.
Pipe and hollow section
Square, rectangular and round hollow sections in IS 4923 and IS 1239, 1.6 mm to 6 mm wall.
Chequered and floor plate
Diamond and teardrop pattern in 3 mm to 8 mm, in 1250 × 2500 and 1500 × 3000 sheets.
What the yard runs on
We stopped quoting delivery in weeks. The cut list goes over on a Monday and the loaded truck photograph comes back on the Thursday, with the heat numbers legible on the tags.
Processing, with the tolerance attached
Every figure below is what we hold on the feature named, measured at the machine before the load leaves.
Cut to length
Bandsaw and shear. ±1.5 mm on cuts up to 3 m, measured on the sawn face; longer cuts are quoted with their own figure.
Plate profiling
Plasma up to 25 mm and oxy up to 40 mm. ±0.8 mm on profile, measured against the DXF at the pierce.
Drilling and notching
Beam line to 610 mm depth. Hole position ±1 mm from the datum end, taken from the same end you dimensioned.
Terms, minimums and what arrives with the steel
The four things a first-time buyer asks on the phone, answered before the call.
What is the minimum order?
Two tonnes on a mixed load from stock, or one full length of any single size. Below that we will still cut for you, but the load has to be collected rather than delivered.
What comes with the steel?
The mill test certificate that came with the heat, unaltered, plus our own cut list showing which piece came from which heat. We do not issue a certificate in the mill’s place and we do not consolidate several heats under one number.
How is cutting tolerance quoted?
±1.5 mm on the sawn face for cuts up to 3 m, and ±0.8 mm on profile for plate, measured against your DXF. Anything longer or thicker is quoted with its own figure on the same document rather than under a blanket number.
Do you deliver, and how far?
Own trucks within 180 km of Bhavnagar, next working day on stock items ordered before noon. Beyond that we book a carrier and the freight is a separate line on the invoice rather than folded into the rate.
